You are, what you wear, it's true

Beige blouses, dresses with people-patterns, navy dresses, and shorts that are trying to be skirts. Oh yes, shopping spree in Korea!  Here's where I shopped.  I'll post picture of what I bought later.

If you carry a trunk around when you travel, it means that A) You're going somewhere chic enough that you never have to carry your bags anyway, or B) You have really strong arms.

I have neither.

BUT don't lose hope.  The original Louis Vuitton trunks are on display at Plaza 66! I'll be back soon with pictures of the most glamorous way to travel.

Korean fashion show

There was a fashion show at the mall I shopped at in Korea.  I practically ran over when I saw the models walking down the catwalk. (BTW THE DIOR RESORT SHOW WAS IN SHANGHAI WHILE I WAS GONE AND I MISSED THE FABULOSITY THAT WAS JOHN GALLIANO, MARRION COTILLARD, KARLIE KLOSS, FRIDA GUSTAVSSON, ETC)

Denim Shirt

This is my ODE TO H&M outfit, because yes, almost everything is from H&M.

Except the necklace, but I got that in Sweden so it's kind of the same.

And my bag, I got that in Rochester for signing up with some online event thing.  But I DONT LIVE IN ROCHESTER so HAHA FREE BAG!

Mother's Day

I went to this awesome Belgian chocolate restaurant place called MiaMiko in the French Concession for Mother's Day (HI MOM).  Actually it was right next to where one of my friends used to live BUT NOWS SHES IN HOLLAND (hi.:) And yes I did just use that parenthesis for a smiley AND it's original purpose.  Score 1 for breaking grammar rules.  

The chocolate looked so good, but I was WAYY too full to eat any.

Oh and #3 of things you should know:

PeOpLe WhO WrItE lIkE tHiS NEED TO GET LIVES. Okay maybe I'm biased because I just facebook stalked a person who was mean to me in first grade (pity party getting started) and they typed like that. 

Mirror Mirror

I took this picture in my compound, and luckily only 2 people stared at me like I was insane.  FIVE LESS THAN AVERAGE, yay for me. 

Seventeen

I'm getting rid of all my Seventeen Magazines and CosmoGirls, it feels really liberating :)

I bought new shorts from Only over the weekend.  I love them! 

More math and computer science tests tomorrow, wish me luck.

I heart Paris

Going to France and Ireland this summer! Score one for graduation presents.  This book from the Lourve is from the 1980's.  How vintage.

Coronation of Napoleon

Princess Margarita, painted by Velazquez.  There's another painting of her in Spain that I fell in love with when I was there, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this. Her eyes are super pretty :)

Paul and Joe Beaute

Paul and Joe did a line for Uniqlo, the ultra-awesome Japanese megastore (that I never really knew was awesome until everyone in the fashion world started talking about it), and it's called Paul and Joe Beaute. I bought this t-shirt from the collection:

Not exactly the same type of things from their Spring 2010 line, but their Fall 2009 line? Well let's just say the designers have a thing for cats...

This is your life

Wohoo I'm finally starting my own fashion blog!

Here are a few things about me:

1. I like to travel! Who would have known, after all the blog IS called The Jetset.

 

Rome!  This was one of my favorite trips, even though it was about a year ago now.  After I went there, I was so inspired to make a blog, but it died after about a week.  And when I say died, I mean I got lazy.

Korea! This was not so long ago, during Chinese New Year break.  I really liked the guard's bow and arrow.  Because I'm weird like that.

2. I love FASHION :)

I even read Vogue China.

Since my IB exams are starting tomorrow, I figured this would be the perfect time to start my blog.  Procrastinators unite!  Tomorrow. :)
